FORBIDDEN STORY: THE CATACOMBS OF PARIS – THE LOST CITY?

Beneath Paris is an extremely complex system of underground tunnels, dating back to ancient times, and some say even earlier...

In the times of the Roman Empire, limestone was mined in this area for the construction of Lutetia. In the 18th century, old people's remains began to be moved there, because there was no space on the surface to bury the dead.

Bones were placed on the walls in quite surprising structures. The remains of at least 6 (six!) million people have been counted there! What really happened there? Why such complex systems of underground tunnels, catacombs, and rooms? What were they used for? This underground network is so large and varied that today no one really knows how many of these tunnels and rooms there are.

➡️ A similar underground city is located in Turkey and in Polish Szczecin. For years, one of the journalists of "Kurier Szczeciński" investigated this very puzzling case. After several years of publication in the series "Underground Szczecin", it was silenced, and the series ceased to be published by this newspaper.

The overwhelming majority of entrances in Szczecin have been deliberately buried or concreted so that no one will ever discover the secrets of the underground world. Undoubtedly, most of what happened there is already hidden in the mists of history.

➡️ Has there ever been (and not so long ago..) a huge global cataclysm, because of which millions of people sought shelter, and often died there underground?

Well, if the journalist investigating the case had an "unannounced visit", one can only guess, including the most exotic theories, such as "My Riese" or "War." Who knows, maybe there is some truth in them, or even more than a little?
