Scary stories. Scary factual and ghost stories. Don't read it before going to bed

Everyone has heard about terrible stories once, from more or less close friends or read on the Internet. Some of them actually chill the blood in the veins of even the toughest guys. If you're a fan of stories that make your hair stand on end, you've come to the right place. Scary Ghost Stories or Scary True Stories? Some have been handed down for decades, others have arisen quite recently. We warn you - do not read this before going to bed!

Scary Ghost Stories.

There are those who consider it nonsense. However, there are also those who believe in the existence of ghosts. How is it really? It's hard to tell, you can only guess from the stories and scary stories about them. We present a few stories about ghosts that happened in ... Warsaw. The capital is also haunted.

1. The villa at ul. Morskie Oko 5

According to the legend, a young girl found refuge in this villa during the bloody days of the uprising. Hanna fell in love with one of the fighters and at night decided to give her beloved a bouquet of flowers. She went out to the garden at night wearing a white shirt. It was her last walk. The enemy bullet killed the girl. From then on, the woman was supposed to appear in the villa and frighten unwanted guests. Apart from the girl's ghost, for a long time, the villa was inhabited by homeless people and drug addicts, with knocking and stomping scaring the curious away from the house at Morskie Oko. However, the tenants were chased away and the villa was renovated.

2. The Staszic Palace
From the very beginning, it was said that the building was haunted. Apparently, you can meet the spirit of a sad priest there. As the story goes, the clergyman returns from the afterlife on each subsequent anniversary of his death. The problem is that no one remembers exactly when the priest said goodbye to the world. Therefore, when visiting the Staszic Palace, you have to be ready for anything. Perhaps visitors will be lucky enough to meet the ghost of two hundred years ago.

3. Presidential
Palace The Presidential Palace, formerly known as Koniecpolski, Radziwiłł or Lubomirski, had a bad reputation from the very beginning. It was said that a swarm of ghosts haunted there. Why? Because where the Krakowskie (formerly Czerski) Przedmieście is now located, there was ... a cemetery. The phantoms that sneak through the chambers are the headless figure of a knight who stumbles over furniture, puts out candles and a giant magnate.

4. Marysieńka's spirit
Another terrible story tells about the spirit of Marysieńka. Marysieńka was a woman of considerable beauty and cleverness. Her first husband was voivode Jan Zamoyski, the second was King Jan III Sobieski, who literally and figuratively showered his wife with luxury. He gave her love, pearls, flowers, furs, exquisite bedding. The feeling that this couple had for each other became almost legendary. But the king's funeral services overshadowed the ruler's ideal relationship. Shortly after the king's death, on June 17, 1696, Marysieńka quarreled with her eldest son Jakub. He drove his mother out of the palace, accusing her of hiding great wealth. As the funeral procession passed through the streets of Warsaw, someone shouted to open the coffin lid and look at the king's face for the last time. Marysieńka protested, but she did not manage to do much. When the lid was removed, it turned out that the king was not wearing a crown. His wife took her.
How did Marysieńka appear? Apparently, people saw a crown-shaped cloud moving over Miodowa Street. Or is it just an illusion? Anyway, rumor has it that a similar phenomenon can only be seen at Wawel.

Short scary stories
Each of these scary stories consists of just a few sentences and can freeze your blood in your veins. On the Internet, you can find a lot of such short scary stories on various sites. We've put together some really scary ones.

When I put him to sleep, he said, "Daddy, check for monsters under the bed." Amused,  looked there and then I saw him - it was my son who, trembling, whispered one sentence to me: "Daddy, someone is lying in my bed."

I woke up and immediately felt something was wrong - it was too quiet. I looked out the window and saw in front of the house several dozen motionless silhouettes staring at my house.

The tapping on the glass woke me up. At first, I thought it was coming from behind the window, but then I realized that I heard it again from the mirror.

She was sitting on my shelf with a thoughtless porcelain look and the most beautiful pink doll dress I could find. Why did she have to be born dead?

The girl heard her mother calling her name from below. She got out of bed and headed for the stairs to go downstairs. Suddenly her mother pulled her into her room saying, "I heard that too."
